What Are Static Websites?
You may be familiar with the fact that the pages you view on the internet are portions of websites. But you may not know the difference between dynamic and static websites.
The word dynamic refers to motion and activity. Hence, a dynamic website is one which has interactive elements or information that is frequently updated. An example of a dynamic website may be one featuring daily weather or news.
In contrast, the word static has the opposite meaning - stable and fixed. Therefore, a static website is one which features and maintains the same information, such as a document or photo.
